Astell&Kern AK T9iE High-Fi In-Ear Monitor (IEM)
Astell&Kern and Beyerdynamic have teamed up to produce another high-fi IEM. Featuring top-of-the-line cables and an acoustic vent port, these gorgeous in-ears produce clarified bass and neutral treble without a whiff of distortion.
Acoustic Vent Port
While no one is claiming that the AK T9iE is an open-back IEM, the enlarged vent hole in the middle of the cover plate acts as a sort of blowhole through which excess bass can escape. What does this mean? It means that these IEMs deliver precise, unmuddied bass without bugging your deskmate.
Two-Layer Acoustic Filter
The unfortunate thing about having ears is the earwax they produce. No, the AK T9iE won’t clean your ears for you, but they do protect themselves with a two-layer acoustic filter (that also produces pure, neutral treble).
Silver and Copper Hybrid Cable
By delegating bass frequencies to a 7N OCC copper wire and high-end frequencies to a 4N pure silver wire, the T5p achieves a balanced sound profile. No ear-splitting highs or aggressive, muddy bass. Just perfect clarity.
