Instead of sealing off your ear canal, it rests comfortably outside it, delivering full-range hi-fi audio with a 13mm dynamic driver, real-time adaptive bass, and hardware-level AI noise cancellation for clearer calls. 

Built for OWS—open wear stereo

Unlike traditional earbuds, the Pill doesn’t go in your ear. It clips on with a memory wire C-bridge that hugs the outside of your ear, keeping pressure off your canal. That means no seal fatigue, no eardrum pressure, and no fight with your glasses. 

13mm dynamic driver with long-stroke design

Moondrop fitted the Pill with a specialized 13mm dynamic driver built for wideband, low-distortion performance. Its long-stroke diaphragm design behaves more like a small speaker than a typical in-ear driver. You get better bass, better dynamics, and a sound that feels bigger than the hardware.

Adaptive Bass Enhancement Algorithm

A Moondrop-patented DSP algorithm enhances low-end performance in real-time. It tracks audio content and boosts bass without adding distortion. That means music gets a little deeper, movies hit a little harder, and games feel more immersive.

Directional dipole sound transmission

With open-air designs, sound leakage is always a concern. Moondrop tackled this with Dipole Directional Sound Transmission, a mechanical design that reduces sound leakage by 97% at 15cm from the ear. So the Pill plays loud, but not for the guy next to you.

Hardware-level AI noise cancellation

The Pill uses an NPU (neural processing unit) to handle real-time AI Environmental Noise Cancellation. This chip tracks and removes environmental noise while boosting vocal clarity. Whether you're on a call, recording a message, or voice-commanding your phone, your voice cuts through cleanly.

Low-latency game mode

With a 55ms low-latency mode, the Pill syncs up with gaming audio fast enough to keep up with mobile gameplay. Tap the touch controls to switch between modes—no app required. Whether you’re in a match or just watching YouTube, sound stays locked in.

Long battery life and fast charging

The Pill runs 8 hours on a single charge and stores an extra 20 in its charging case. Standby time stretches to 90 hours thanks to low-power hardware. It’s ready for daily wear—no mid-day top-offs or surprise shutdowns.

C-bridge memory wire for comfort and hold

The Pill’s ear-clip design uses a hybrid of liquid silicone and shape-memory titanium alloy. This gives it a soft outer feel with a resilient internal structure. It holds its shape, fits most ears, and survives getting stuffed in your pocket or bag.

IPX4 water resistance

Sweat, splashes, and drizzle won’t knock the Pill out of commission. It’s rated IPX4, tested under ILAC-MRA and CNAS certification standards, and built for daily wear under real-world conditions.

Touch control, dual device, app customization

Manage playback, calls, and bass levels directly through the Pill or Moondrop’s companion app. The app also lets you customize touch controls, switch DSP profiles, and manage dual-device pairing.

One-click auto EQ and DSP sharing

Moondrop’s app includes a one-click Auto EQ function with multiple response targets. Pick your curve—VDSF, Harman, or custom—and let the app do the rest. You can also download and share DSP presets within the community, making the Pill endlessly tunable.
