The Singxer SU-1 is equipped with the XMOS XU208 chip and outputs that include an XLR balanced output, AES, I2S, S/PDIF, MCLK/WCK, and L2S through HDMI. It’s also compatible with Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, and Android. The SU-1 uses a multi-way independent of the LDO power supply in order to endure the ultimate output performance.

Note: This is the 110 V version. Please contact us if you are looking for the 220 V version.

Sampling Rates

  • PCM: 44.1, 48, 88.2, 96, 176.4, 192, 352.8, 384 kHz
  • I2S supports all sampling rate, S/PDIF supports up to 192 kHz
  • DSD: 2.8 MHz (DSD64), DOP, native; 5.6 MHz (DSD128) DOP, native; 11.2 MHz (DSD256) native
  • I2S output supports all DSD; S/PDIF, AES/EBU support DSD64 DOP mode

Bit Width

  • Up to 32 bit over I2S output
  • Up to 24 bit over S/PDIF
  • USB input socket is a standard USB-B type socket, USB power supply range 4.5V–5.1V
  • RCA connector outputs standard S/PDIF signal, electrical level is 550 mV (standard connection load), output impedance of 75 ohms
  • Power supply input is AC 115V/230V using TALEMA transformer

System Compatibility

  • Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10: 32/64 bit, need installed driver
  • Native Mac OS 10.6 and later: Use own driver
  • Native Linux with UAC2 compliant kernel: Use own driver
  • Android OS 4.2 and above: Need support OTG function

I2S Port Using HDMI Output

  • Electrical level is 3.3V LVDS differential signal
  • DSD ON signal, 5V power supply, CPLD has processed the mute signal (no need to process again)
  • DSD ON signal can be user defined, DSD ON signal can be connected to PIN 13, 14, 15, 16 on the socket
  • You can adjust the phase of PIN 1–3 and PIN 7–9 with a switch

Flexible HDMI-I2S Output Configuration

  • Switch 1–4 is for PIN13–16 on the HDMI socket
  • When you turn “ON”, it means that HDMI PIN has DSD_ON function
  • Switch 5 is clock output mode, “OFF” is MCLK, “ON” is WCK
  • Switch 6 is for HDMI PIN1–3 and PIN 7–9 phase, ON is positive phase, OFF is negative phase (ON is for Gustard DAC, OFF is for PS Audio)
  • If using Gustard DAC, turn Switch 3 and 6 to “ON”, others to “OFF”
  • Switch 7 and 8 are standby
