We’re now selling the FiiO K7 Balanced Desktop DAC/Amp on Apos Audio. Featuring a six-stage audio circuit with truly balanced analog and digital sections, the K7 is an incredibly impressive all-in-one for only $199.99. 

Using the same THX AAA 788+ amplifiers as the K9 Pro, the K7 is capable of outputting 560mW into a 300Ω load at 1% distortion, and 2000mW into a 32Ω load at 1% distortion. It also has a dual gain switch, meaning you can play both high and low impedance headphones and IEMs with no problem. 

AKM has slowly been recovering after the fire that shut down their factory in 2020, and it’s nice to see them return in a FiiO desktop device. The K7 features two AK4493SEQ D/A chips. These 32-bit D/A chips support 768kHz PCM and DSD512, ideal for high-resolution audio source playback.

The K7 is light on bells and whistles, which may be a positive if you're looking to save some money with a stripped-down DAC that concentrates on the fundamentals. It has a 112-step smooth (and awesomely oversized) volume knob, a multi-colored RGB indicator, and a number of protection systems that protect the K7 from overheating, overloading, and generally keep it in working order.
