Titanium tough
The Nekocake’s 13mm dynamic driver features an ultra-thin and flexible suspension diaphragm with a titanium-plated dome, thus offering more treble detail than similarly-sized dynamic drivers. An ultra-thin Japanese CCAW voice coil keeps the suspension system’s mass low, allowing the earphones to offer a more rapid transient response. A large magnetic circuit structure and an N52 neodymium magnet ensure dynamic performance.
VDSF target response
The default sound signature of the Nekocake is Moondrop’s VDSF target response, which prioritizes authentic timbre and an open, natural listening experience. Thanks to its 13mm dynamic driver and digital audio optimization, the Nekocake achieves low total-frequency harmonic distortion of less than 0.5%.
Active Noise Cancellation
Goodbye, subway hubbub. Hello, sanity. The Nekocake features Active Noise Cancellation, or ANC, which picks up ambient environmental noise through feedforward microphones, inverts it, and transmits the resulting signal to the dynamic driver, thus cancelling out the ambient noise.
Smart touch operation
Keeping your phone in your pocket and staying focused has never been easier. With simple touch operations on the earbuds, you can do things like turn noise cancellation on and off, answer calls, play and pause the music, go to the next or previous song, or wake up the voice assistant. You can even create your own custom touch operations using the Moondrop Link app.
5 selectable tunings
Cycle through five sound signature tunings with the press of a button. “Balance” is based on the VDSF target response; “Moondrop Classic” presents airy treble and softer, cleaner mid-bass; “Xdynamic” goes for heavy bass and vocal-forward mids; “Nobass” is based on the fundamentalist target frequency response produced by B&K HATS HRTF; and “Wennebostel” reproduces Sennheiser-like characteristics.
Portable charging case
The Nekocake’s perfectly pocketable charging case is a convenient addition to trips big and small. At only an inch deep and two and a half inches long, it easily fits into pockets, purses, and bags.

Each earbud has a four-hour battery life, and the charging case has a twelve-hour battery life. Just stow dead earbuds in the case to bring them back to life, even while you’re on-the-go, and rock out for a combined sixteen hours.
