The Apos SMSL-X Ensemble is a bundle designed to provide you with a premium audio setup straight out of the box. At the heart of this ensemble are the SMSL SU-X Balanced MQA Desktop DAC and the SMSL SH-X Desktop Headphone Amp—a dynamic duo that's essentially the Ensemble’s very own Iron Man and Captain America.

The SMSL SU-X Balanced MQA Desktop DAC features dual ESS ES9039MSPRO DAC chips and an XMOS XU-316 USB controller for high-resolution audio support up to PCM 768kHz and DSD512. It includes MQA decoding, CK-03 clock processing for reduced jitter, and Qualcomm aptX and LDAC Bluetooth for wireless high-resolution audio streaming. Housed in a durable aluminum alloy body, it also offers multiple inputs and outputs, a full-fit color IPS display, and dual linear power supplies for superior sound quality.

The SMSL SH-X Desktop Headphone Amplifier offers 11.5W of power at 16Ω and features a low-noise op-amp design with 40 op-amps per channel for detailed sound. It includes a three-way gain switch for tailored listening, versatile preamp functionality, and an HD color IPS screen. The SH-X is compact, fitting well on any desktop, and ensures high-performance audio with JAS Hi-Res certification and a noise-free operation.
