We hate to be the bearers of bad news, but the Matrix element X DAC/Amp has reached its end of life. Please check out the second generation model of this product, the Matrix element X2 DAC/Amp/Streamer.

The Matrix element X DAC/Amp uses the industry leading ESS's ES9038PRO flagship chip along with the professional ultra-low noise LDO ES9311 and Crystek CCHD-950 femtosecond clock. By integrating a quad-core ARM processor and developing a a high-quality audio system based on Linux, the element X can easily convert from a DAC to a full-function audio source that can play network streaming media and local audio files. It also has a full balanced dual -mode headphone amplifier with LME49600 and a high performance power supply system.

The element X has the brand-new XU216 XMOS processor, which can easily handle decoding and rendering the high standard MQA format. It also comes with a built-in high-quality analog pre-amplifier with +10dB analog gain and is configurable. It has hyper-control that keeps the features of analog volume control's good quality and the precision of a digital volume control. The double-shell structure of the element X changes the fixed resonant frequency and reduces the negative impact of resonance on sound quality. Finally, it has an Android App with iOS App in the works, and allows you to push music through AirPlay or DLNA.
