Audio & Company Meetup #1

We finally did it. Our first-ever Bay Area meetup, Audio & Company, went down on a sunny day in San Francisco, and about forty people showed up to prove the impossible: hi-fi nerds do, in fact, leave the house.

Tom at Apos here to give you a quick recap of this historic event. 

The coffee was hot, the beer was cold, and the people were ready to mingle. 

Tables filled up fast with DACs, amps, streamers, and headphones of all stripes. 

Conversation flowing as smoothly as a warm tube amp. 

Pud stopped by to show off his most practical and wearable invention yet.

Were we tempted to touch the LEGO displays? Yes. Did we? In order not to void our security deposit, I'll say no. 

Synergy. 

We got to audition everything from the latest TOPPING and Gustard products to prototypes from up-and-coming designers. 

Where else can you listen to music and do strength training at the same time?

Thanks to everyone who came out! You made our first Audio & Company a success. For us, it was great to finally meet people we usually only hear from on forums, comment threads, and email chains. For everyone else, it seemed like a good excuse to spend a Saturday listening to gear and chatting with like-minded audio lovers.
