While the D70s maintain much of the same styling and hardware — and thus achieves the same benchmarks that make the D70 so popular — it features some notable chip upgrades, standard wireless functions, and THD & SNR tighter specs. The D70s still uses two of the industry-leading AKM AK4497EQ DAC chips, but has an upgraded 2nd-generation XMOS 16-core XU216 microcontroller and LDAC Bluetooth 5.0 is standard in every unit.
