Apos is bringing the heat

Meet Ian Anderson

At the helm of Lost Monarch is Ian Anderson—a writer, engineer, and e-commerce professional with over a decade of experience in the fashion industry. We've been following his blog, From Squalor to Baller, for years, soaking up his insights on dressing simply and classically in a business casual world. We love his sharp sense of design and commitment to quality, and we're thrilled to bring his creations to the Apos community. Ian's work has been featured in the Wall St. Journal, San Francisco Chronicle, and numerous fashion publications.

Lost Monarch is named after the Lost Monarch tree—a colossal redwood in Northern California. Standing at 320 feet tall and 26 feet in diameter, it's one of the world's largest redwoods by volume. Inspired by this ancient king of the forest, Lost Monarch’s apparel is classically designed and uses natural materials like donegal wool and vegetable-tanned leather.
