Geno & Sherri Geshelli
We’re Geno and Sherri from Geshelli Labs. Our little company is thrilled to be part of the Apos family. It’s been a long time coming to get to this point. We first spoke to John and Kunal back in 2021 about doing a collab together. Back then, we didn’t have crew or equipment to scale a larger production line. The Apos and Geshelli crew have kept in touch over the years, knowing that eventually something would work out.
Enter the Gremlin. We have been hearing about the Gremlin..well, everywhere. It’s all people are talking about. An affordable tube amp, in a fun clear case. To solidify its popularity, folks have been writing to tell us how great the pairing of the Gremlin and the J2 is. We have received many requests for us to reintroduce our clear case DAC that we had back in 2017 so the customer could match it with the Gremlin. When Apos recently contacted us about making an updated DAC to match the Gremlin, we knew the time was right and we were ready.
For those who are not familiar with Geshelli, we are a small family operation in Florida. We are one of the few audio companies that truly produce our own products in-house. This collaboration shows we’ve come a long way from hand soldering circuit boards in the garage.
Running a small US Manufacturing business is tough. Doing it as husband and wife adds another level. The one thing we’re asked the most as a couple is how can you two work together? Don’t you get sick of being together all the time? We always laugh because we have been breathing the same air at work since 2008 when we started sharing an office. We’re so used to being together, it’s actually weird when one of us isn’t around. It helps that we have the same goals and interests. Outside of work, we love to spend time at Disney (usually Epcot). Every night we end our day by walking the dog then playing co-op video games. If you ever run across the screen name Erish and Enog, you will know it’s us.
