Flagship IEM with five drivers

Get the ultimate in-ear experience with Lime Ears’ flagship IEM. The Pneuma divides and conquers the frequency spectrum with five drivers for maximum separation and efficiency. A 7mm titanium dynamic driver delivers rumbling sub-bass, while four balanced armature drivers handle everything else from low-end punch to high-end sparkle.

The back plate of the Pneuma bears the Seed of Life, a symbol of sacred geometry representing creation. The Pneuma will recreate your love of music with its inspired design and high-end tech.

Divide and conquer: five drivers in a four-way crossover design

Hear more details and distinction. The Pneuma divides the sound frequency range among its five drivers, allowing each to only focus on the range it was designed to produce. Its large dynamic driver handles the sub-bass frequencies, while its four balanced armature drivers handle the low-end, mid-range, and treble frequencies. By limiting the frequency range of each driver, each one makes up for what the others lack, resulting in a more efficient and detailed system.

VariBore Technology: perfect bore attenuation

Get perfectly attenuated highs and lows with VariBore Technology. The Pneuma’s drivers are matched to four bores, or holes that send sound down your ear canal, resulting in superior separation. Additionally, each frequency has been matched to the bore diameter that best suits it. A 2mm high-frequency bore, for example, delivers smooth, non-shrill highs.

Switchable Subwoofer

Adapt the Pneuma to your music or environment with the switchable subwoofer. By flicking the switch on the Pneuma’s chassis, you can add or subtract 3-6dB to the lowest frequencies (<100Hz). Bump the bass with the beat drops or pare it back when it gets to be too much. You can also bump the bass in a crowded office or airplane to counteract ambient noise.

BAM Technology

Get more low-end. Just like how adding a port in the cabinet of a loudspeaker extends the speaker’s frequency response, a port in the Pneuma harnesses the energy created by the back side of the transducer to naturally extend its low-end range. Additionally, open-cell memory foam within the enclosure decreases unwanted acoustic resonances, resulting in thick, clean bass.

Naturally isolating

Get a distinctive sound. Because the eartips of IEMs fill up your ear canal, they’re naturally isolating. They’re not as isolating as noise-cancelling IEMs or headphones, but much more so than open back headphones. They’re a great choice for commuting, traveling, and other scenarios in which privacy is important.

Four balanced armatures

Hear effortlessly efficient detail-retrieval. The Pneuma features four balanced armatures per monitor. Unlike traditional IEMs that use a single dynamic driver, balanced armatures are smaller, lighter, and provide greater output for less power. Inside each balanced armature, a small reed is balanced between two magnets (hence the “balanced” in balanced armature). The magnets vibrate the reed, and the reed’s motion is transferred to a diaphragm.
