While most modern DACs use spellbooks (delta-sigma chips), R2R DACs tend to an ancient ladder (a network of resistors in a “ladder” configuration). This arcane technology is often praised for its natural, analog-like sound. The Apos x Community Druid is equipped with swappable runes (op-amps) and an estimated MSRP of <$150.
