The MOMENTUM 5 combines Sennheiser’s latest wireless tech, adaptive noise cancellation, and support for lossless audio in a refined over-ear design built for long listening sessions. A newly developed 42 mm dynamic driver, Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, and support for advanced codecs including aptX Lossless and Snapdragon Sound help preserve detail and clarity across your music library. With up to 57 hours of battery life and Hybrid Adaptive ANC powered by eight microphones, the MOMENTUM 5 is designed to stay focused on the music while fading into the background.

Detailed sound with broad codec support

A 42 mm dynamic driver and carefully tuned acoustic design support a frequency response extending from 6 Hz to 40 kHz through Bluetooth and USB playback. The MOMENTUM 5 supports SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD, aptX adaptive, aptX lossless, and Snapdragon Sound for higher-quality wireless playback across compatible devices. Whether streaming high-resolution content or listening over a wired connection, the presentation remains detailed and controlled.

Adaptive noise cancellation with more microphones

The updated Hybrid Adaptive ANC system uses eight microphones—twice as many as the previous generation—to improve noise suppression, particularly through the midrange frequencies where conversations and surrounding activity often compete for attention. Beamforming microphones also support clearer voice pickup during calls.

Battery designed for extended listening

The replaceable lithium-ion battery provides up to 57 hours of playback over Bluetooth with active noise cancellation enabled. A full charge takes approximately two hours, while a quick 10-minute charge can provide up to seven hours of playback. USB-C charging support keeps power management straightforward for travel and everyday use.

Built for comfort and daily use

The MOMENTUM 5 uses an over-ear, circum-aural design with a folding structure for easier storage and transport. At approximately 10 oz (290 g), the headphone nails long-session comfort. Support for the Sennheiser Smart Control Plus app on iOS and Android allows access to customization and additional controls.

Optimized for immersive content

The MOMENTUM 5 is optimized for Dolby Atmos playback and includes support for gaming mode through a planned firmware update. Combined with Bluetooth 5.4 and Class 1 wireless connectivity, the platform is built to support music, movies, and everyday media playback with solid performance.
