Apos Audio COVID-19/Coronavirus Update - July 23, 2020


First and foremost, a big thank you from all of us at Apos Audio. It is safe to say that the first half of 2020 was unlike anything that any of us could have imagined, but with your understanding and patience, we were able to adapt, add new products, and continue with business. Now we’re in the second half of the year, and even though summer is in full swing, Apos isn’t taking the time off; we continue to work hard on providing the products you love with the top tier service you expect.

We have a variety of new products to offer you, including the entire collection from our friends in the UK at Chord Electronics. We have also been investing heavily in our fulfillment and customer support infrastructure to better serve all of you.

New Products

July has been a banner month for us with our new product offerings. As mentioned, we are proud to now be an authorized reseller for all of Chord Electronics’ products.

We also launched the TOPPING D10s DAC, an improvement of its predecessor the D10 with new chips and drivers.

We also listed four new IEMs available for purchase, including the Kinera Freya, a handmade and hand-painted IEM that contains four drivers.

The Tin Audio T2 Plus is the newest member added in the T2 family and it is crafted of airplane-grade aluminum, includes upgraded drivers, and comes with a premium silver-plated cable.

The Moondrop SSR is an IEM created specifically to be small, comfortable, and ergonomic — especially for listeners with small ears — while still delivering superior audio quality.

The Tanchjim HANA is the final IEM we released, with a design made from stainless steel that's gone through an ultra-high temperature painting process, so the paint adheres to the steel extremely well while being skin-friendly. Furthermore, the driver's impedance is just 32 ohms.

Order Fulfillment

We’ve been investing heavily in the capacity and capability of our Shenzhen Fulfillment Center in the last few months and we can now fulfill far more orders per day from Shenzen than we could have from all our US facilities combined. Furthermore, starting at the end of July, we will be shipping orders out 7 days a week.

Order Return Processing

Unfortunately, COVID-19 in California has worsened and the case counts are rising dramatically, causing the governor to reinstate many closures. Out of an abundance of caution for our Returns Team colleagues who are unable to work from home, we have decided to minimize the on-site shifts for the rest of July and increase the safety protocols of return processing. This means that the processing time will be longer than before for customers who submit returns. We understand that these delays are far from ideal for you; we are truly grateful for your patience and understanding. 


Shipping network capacity continues to decline globally for virtually all companies due to various reasons stemming from the pandemic. To combat this, Apos has been upgrading the shipping speed — free of charge — for all customers to ensure your shipments arrive on time. We will continue doing this for as long as is necessary.

Customer Support

We have continued to considerably expand our Customer Support Team, guaranteeing you prompter response times through both chat and email. 

In fact, our Customer Support Team would be almost 50% larger by the end of July compared to June. This is on top of the large expansions we made in May. All of our new team members are doing their best to learn the ropes as quickly as possible, so that they can best assist all of you with your questions and requests. Please feel free to drop them a friendly “hello” as they are working very hard to serve you! 

Apos will continue to provide updates as we adapt to the changing circumstances around us due to the pandemic. In the meantime, we are working hard to bring you new products that you are requesting and making sure that your experience with Apos Audio is top-notch.  We are very grateful to all our customers for the support and well wishes they have provided us. 

The pandemic will surely bring more surprises (and unfortunately the situation is worsening here in California), but we have handled the surprises that have arisen as swiftly and painlessly for you as possible. We are working extra hard to ensure this continues, so that your experience with us is business as usual or better. We will continue adding the products you want to our store, providing you with service that is second to none, offering you the lowest prices you can find, and shipping you your products in a safe and timely manner.
