Noble Audio FoKus Artemis three-driver wireless headphones

The Noble Audio FoKus Artemis is a flagship wireless over-ear headphone built around a three-driver hybrid system combining one dynamic driver, one planar driver, and one balanced armature driver in each channel. Its wireless architecture uses Qualcomm’s QCC3095 platform with Bluetooth 6.0, LDAC, aptX Adaptive, and aptX Lossless support, alongside variable Active Noise Cancellation, Audiodo hearing personalization, spatial audio, multipoint connectivity, and wired USB-C and 3.5 mm playback. With up to 55+ hours of battery life and a user-replaceable 600 mAh battery, Artemis is designed for extended listening across home, office, and portable use.

Three-driver hybrid architecture

The Artemis divides playback duties across three different driver technologies rather than relying on a single full-range transducer. The dynamic driver handles bass reproduction, providing the excursion needed for low-frequency weight and impact. A planar driver is assigned to the midrange, where its lightweight diaphragm is intended to provide fast transient response and an open presentation.

A balanced armature driver operates as a super tweeter for upper-frequency reproduction. Using the three driver types together allows Noble to allocate different portions of the frequency range according to the mechanical characteristics of each transducer, with the dynamic, planar, and balanced armature drivers contributing to bass, midrange, and treble reproduction respectively.

Bluetooth 6.0 and Qualcomm QCC3095 wireless platform

The wireless section is based on Qualcomm’s QCC3095 platform and supports Bluetooth 6.0. Codec support includes LDAC, aptX Adaptive, and aptX Lossless, giving compatible source devices several options for higher-bandwidth Bluetooth transmission and adaptive wireless operation.

Multipoint connectivity allows Artemis to maintain connections with compatible devices at the same time, reducing the need to manually disconnect and pair again when moving between sources such as a phone and computer.

Variable noise cancellation and six-microphone system

The Artemis uses a six-microphone system to support its wireless communication and noise-control functions. Active Noise Cancellation is user adjustable rather than fixed to a single attenuation level, allowing the amount of environmental reduction to be changed according to the listening environment.

Transparency mode provides an alternative operating mode when surrounding sound needs to remain audible. Both functions are integrated into the headphone rather than requiring the headphones to be removed when switching between isolation and environmental awareness.

Audiodo hearing personalization and onboard settings

The Noble FoKus companion app integrates Audiodo hearing personalization, which creates an individualized playback profile based on the listener’s measured hearing abilities. The app also provides equalizer controls for additional frequency-response adjustment.

Audiodo personalization and EQ settings are stored directly on Artemis after configuration. The selected profile therefore remains active when the Noble FoKus app is closed or the headphones are subsequently used with another compatible source.

Spatial audio support

The Noble FoKus app also provides spatial audio as an optional playback mode for music and movie content. Spatial processing can be selected alongside the headphone’s hearing-personalization and equalizer functions, giving users separate controls for individualized frequency response and spatial presentation.

Up to 55+ hours of playback

A 600 mAh battery provides up to 55+ hours of playback with Active Noise Cancellation disabled and up to 35+ hours with ANC enabled. Charging takes under 1.5 hours through USB-C, with fast charging also supported.

The battery is user replaceable, allowing the power cell to be serviced independently as its capacity declines over time. That design extends the practical serviceability of a component that is normally one of the primary wear items in a wireless headphone.

USB-C and 3.5 mm wired playback

The Artemis can operate beyond its Bluetooth connection through both USB-C audio and 3.5 mm wired audio. Noble includes USB-C to USB-C and 3.5 mm to USB-C cables for direct connection to compatible digital and analog sources.

The additional wired interfaces allow the Artemis to remain usable with computers, portable sources, and other devices where Bluetooth transmission is unavailable or a direct connection is preferred.

Replaceable wear components and IP52 protection

The Artemis weighs under 12.35 oz (350 g) and uses a rotating over-ear construction. The ear pads attach magnetically and can be detached, while the ear cushions are replaceable, making the primary contact surfaces serviceable as they wear.

An IP52 rating provides protection against limited dust ingress and water spray. Combined with the replaceable battery and ear components, the mechanical design places additional emphasis on maintaining the headphone through extended daily use.
