Modern systems built around music

Ruark’s current lineup reflects a long-running focus on building complete music systems rather than isolated components. Across six products, the emphasis is on natural voicing, considered industrial design, and cutting-edge connectivity. Streaming, broadcast radio, vinyl, television audio, and physical media are treated as equal citizens, integrated into systems meant to live comfortably amidst stylish decor. These are not technology showcases in search of a purpose. They are mature, furniture-grade audio products designed to make listening habitual again.

Ruark R610 music console

The R610 is a modern streaming amplifier inspired by the stereo music centers that helped define home hi-fi in the 1970s. It combines network streaming, TV audio, vinyl playback, and physical media integration with a 75 W per channel Class D amplifier and Burr-Brown DACs. Operation centers around Ruark’s refined RotoDial controller and a 5-inch color display, keeping interaction tactile and immediate rather than app-dependent.

Highlights

  • 75 W per channel amplification with Burr-Brown DACs

  • Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, AirPlay, Google Cast, and internet radio

  • Moving-magnet phono input for turntables

  • HDMI ARC / eARC for television audio

  • RotoDial control system with matching rechargeable remote

Ruark Sabre-R bookshelf speakers

The Sabre-R bookshelf speakers revisit Ruark’s original 1985 Sabre design with modern drivers, cabinetry, and crossover tuning. Handcrafted enclosures use sustainably sourced veneers, while custom long-throw bass-mid drivers and carefully tuned crossovers aim for coherence rather than spectacle. They are designed to work equally well with traditional separates or as a matched system with the R610.

Highlights

  • Custom long-throw bass-mid drivers with tuned cabinetry

  • Handcrafted cabinets with sustainable wood veneers

  • Optimized crossover for seamless driver integration

  • Designed to pair directly with R610 or other hi-fi electronics

Ruark RS1 subwoofer

The RS1 is a compact, furniture-grade subwoofer developed in response to demand from MR1 owners who wanted deeper low-frequency extension without visual intrusion. A 100 W Class D amplifier drives a carefully tuned enclosure designed for control rather than excess, supporting small speaker systems where bass weight and timing matter.

Highlights

  • 100 W Class D amplifier with soft clipping protection

  • Tuned enclosure for controlled, musical bass

  • Auto on/standby operation

  • Designed to integrate visually with Ruark systems

Ruark R410 integrated music system

The R410 is an all-in-one stereo system that brings streaming, radio, vinyl, TV audio, and local playback into a single enclosure. Custom NS+ bass-mid drivers and MR1-derived tweeters are powered by a 120 W Class D amplifier, with adaptive EQ maintaining tonal balance at different listening levels. It is intended to function as a primary music system without additional components.

Highlights

  • 120 W Class D amplification with adaptive EQ

  • Built-in streaming with Spotify, TIDAL, Qobuz, AirPlay, and Google Cast

  • DAB/DAB+, FM, and internet radio

  • Moving-magnet phono input and HDMI ARC / eARC

  • Multiroom support with other Ruark systems

Ruark MR1 Mk3 desktop speakers

The MR1 Mk3 builds on Ruark’s long-running compact speaker platform with revised cabinetry, upgraded NS+ bass-mid drivers, and higher-power Class D amplification derived from the R410. Designed for desks and small rooms, they support Bluetooth aptX HD, USB audio, optical input, and direct turntable connection via an integrated phono stage.

Highlights

  • Revised NS+ bass-mid drivers and 20 mm silk dome tweeters

  • Bluetooth aptX HD wireless playback

  • USB-C audio, optical, analog, and phono inputs

  • Compact active speaker design with included remote

Ruark R-CD100 CD player

The R-CD100 is a dedicated CD transport designed to integrate seamlessly with Ruark’s 100 Series systems. It connects via USB-C, allowing digital conversion to be handled by the DACs inside the connected system. Mechanical isolation and a slot-loading mechanism focus on consistent playback while preserving the tactile appeal of physical media.

Highlights

  • Slot-loading CD mechanism

  • USB-C connection with plug-and-play integration

  • Compatible with CD-DA, CD-R, and CD-RW

  • Designed to pair with R410, R610, and R810 systems
