New MATRIX AUDIO PRODUCTS

Matrix Audio — a cohesive streaming-first ecosystem

We’re happy to now be offering Matrix Audio’s latest products at Apos. Rather than focusing on short upgrade cycles, this six-product lineup is built around a coherent digital front end that can anchor a system for decades to come. Across the range, Matrix Audio applies a set of core priorities: stable network playback, disciplined clocking, low-noise power design, and intuitive software. These are high-end, endgame-oriented components designed to scale from serious desktop systems to reference transports and integrated speaker setups, unified by the MA Player software, the MA Remote control layer, and hardware that integrates cleanly instead of competing for attention.

Matrix mini-i Pro 4

The mini-i Pro 4 is a compact all-in-one streamer, DAC, and headphone amplifier built around ESS’s ES9039Q2M. It combines network streaming, local playback, HDMI ARC, USB DAC functionality, and balanced headphone drive in a single chassis. A touchscreen interface and full MA Player integration make it easy to move between online services, local libraries, and TV audio without adding external boxes.

Highlights

  • ES9039Q2M DAC with low distortion and high SNR

  • Fully balanced headphone amplifier with 6.35 mm and 4.4 mm outputs

  • MA Player streaming with TIDAL, Qobuz, and internet radio

  • USB DAC and HDMI ARC inputs

  • Gigabit Ethernet and dual-band Wi-Fi

Matrix Audio TT-1

The TT-1 is a dedicated digital transport for systems that already have a DAC they trust but want cleaner digital output and deeper streaming integration. Dual femtosecond clocks handle 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz families independently, while extensive storage and CD ripping support turn the TT-1 into a combined transport and music server.

Highlights

  • Dual femtosecond clocks for low-jitter digital output

  • Optical, coaxial, AES/EBU, IIS-LVDS, and dedicated USB DAC outputs

  • NVMe SSD expansion with low-noise power

  • CD playback and ripping via USB drive

  • External linear power supply support

Matrix Audio TS-1

The TS-1 brings streaming, DAC conversion, and headphone amplification together for desks or small rooms. Using dual AK4493SEQ DACs and a fully balanced discrete headphone amplifier, it can anchor both headphone listening and active speaker systems. Its wide input set—including HDMI ARC and analog RCA—lets it serve as a compact media hub.

Highlights

  • Dual AK4493SEQ DAC architecture with independent power regulation

  • Fully balanced discrete headphone amplifier

  • XLR, RCA, and dedicated subwoofer outputs

  • Wi-Fi 6 streaming with MA Player OS

  • NVMe SSD storage and CD ripping support

Matrix Audio NT-1

The NT-1 is a high-end network audio bridge designed for systems where digital transport quality is paramount. Linear power, precision clocking, isolated USB output, and flexible network expansion position it as a stable, quiet source feeding an external DAC of choice.

Highlights

  • Linear power supply with isolated windings

  • Femtosecond clock system with external clock support

  • Optical, coaxial, AES/EBU, and IIS-LVDS outputs

  • Audio-isolated USB DAC interface

  • NVMe SSD expansion and SMB network sharing

Matrix Audio SS-1 Pro

The SS-1 Pro is an audio-focused network switch built specifically for streaming systems. Rather than general data throughput, its design emphasizes clock stability, electrical isolation, and low-noise linear power to reduce interference before data ever reaches a streamer or DAC.

Highlights

  • Femtosecond clock with external 10 MHz clock input

  • SFP/SFP+ ports for optical isolation up to 10 Gbps

  • Dedicated 100 Mbps ports for audio endpoints

  • Linear power supply with passive cooling

  • CNC aluminum chassis with adjustable foot configuration

Matrix Audio MD-1 and MD-1P

The MD-1 and MD-1P integrate network streaming, DAC, preamp, and power amplification into a single component for passive speakers. With substantial output power, HDMI ARC, phono input, and internal storage options, they are designed to replace racks of separates while retaining system flexibility.

Highlights

  • Integrated streamer, DAC, preamp, and stereo power amplifier

  • 150 W per channel (MD-1) or 300 W per channel (MD-1P) into 8 ohms

  • AK4493SEQ DAC with dual femtosecond clocks and FPGA management

  • HDMI ARC, MM phono input, and extensive digital connectivity

  • NVMe SSD storage with SMB sharing and CD ripping support
