Holy crap Batman
"I’ve been using a Cambridge Dac Magic 200. A WiiM Ultra is my streamer. On the very first song, I can hear the improvement. Beautiful mid/top End is so smooth and detailed. My JBL L150A have never sounded better. I’m thrilled."

Take your listening to the next level with the E70 Velvet, a desktop DAC that features the flagship AKM AK4499EX DAC chip. Designed to pair perfectly with the TOPPING L70 Fully Balanced NFCA Headphone Amplifier, it decodes Bluetooth and USB audio at the highest levels available.
The newly designed AK4499EX flagship DAC chip uses a completely separate digital/analog solution to achieve sound “as if you were there.”
Enjoy hi-def Bluetooth 5.1 and the latest wireless codecs: LDAC, AAC, SBC, aptX, aptX LL, aptX HD, and aptX Adaptive. The E70 bypasses the built-in DAC functionality of the Bluetooth chip and uses the AK449EX instead, ensuring the absolute best sound quality.
The USB input of E70 VELVET has a wide range of compatibility: Windows 10, Windows 11, MAC, Linux, IS, Android can all be plugged and played.
The E70 VELVET is equipped with a 12V Trigger interface, which has both active control (Trigger out) and passive control (Trigger in). With only one easy-to-obtain 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable, the E70 VELVET can be turned on and off synchronously with other devices equipped with a 12V Trigger interface.
The E70 features an output selection button with options for “XLR only,” “RCA only,” and “XLR + RCA.” This last option lets you run cables to two different destinations, such as a headphone amp and powered monitors, and listen to either without having to do the cable shuffle.
Put the E70 in preamplifier mode and control the output volume from -99dB to 0dB by the knob or remote control. This gives you a massive power advantage when using power amplifiers or monitor speakers.

"excellent music converter. Night and day better thay my previous arrangment. Highly recommended."
"Great DAC, I’m replacing an older Schiit Modi 3 with an AKM chip and this is a nice upgrade. Great price, fast shipping, what’s not to like."
"I started with an SMSL Panda (AK4490) and loved the sound, - it died. I switched to a Topping D50 (ess) and thought is was ok , a step down for my taste. It died also. Many years for each but AK is back and so this is the new contender for me. It has one job to feed my Sherbourn PA7100 200 amp monoblock for 2 clean audio channels over XLR."
"Great purchase. Phenomenal performance for the price. Opened up the musicality of my system."
"I broke the rules when I went with the E70 Velvet; I bought it for my home stereo system so I could start streaming wirelessly from my iPad instead of relying on an aux cable and fishing for my dongle every time I wanted to play a song. This has, without a doubt, highly improved the sound quality of digital streaming on my system and I could not be happier. Mids are warmer, mid-highs to highs aren't as abrasive but still clear, and the bass frequencies have a little more depth without being overwhelming. It feels like my music has opened up and reached a new level of depth and dynamics, without little to no loss in clarity (though it can vary some from genre to genre). I even connected it to my TV, and somehow voices are much clearer and easier to understand. The E70 Velvet gets a full 5/5 stars for improvement in sound quality. I am using it for a slightly unintended use by integrating it into a stereo system, and I do wish that it had some RCA inputs for that reason, but I really cannot come up with any complaints when focusing on its intended purpose."
"Bought dual Topping b100 monoblock amps and the Topping e70 Velvet. Was skeptical at first because I hadn’t heard of the brand, but they have all been phenomenal. Crystal clear audio that is also incredibly smooth. I am hearing details in songs that I never knew existed before. And aesthetically, they look great. And very hard to beat the prices comparatively — I feel like I’m getting audio that is comparable to many of the flagship systems I’ve heard auditioned. 5/5 would recommend."
"What a beautiful DAC! The name is aptly named as it is smooth as velvet in its sound signature. Another way of thinking about it is the sound signature is like a hot toddy on cold winter's night in front of a fireplace. Well worth the money. BTW I'm using it in my desktop system - Musical Fidelity MX Stream, E70 Velvet, Schiit Auidio Raganarok v. 1, Mirage OMD-5 speakers. As reference the sound is better than that supplies from my Bluesound Vault 2."
"This inexpensive little dac makes my budget system come to Life! My Dynaudio Emit 10's never sounded so good. I love it!"
"They don't call this Velvet for nothing. I've had mine for several months and I still marvel at how smooth (yet detailed) it sounds. The auto start is fantastic. The controls aren't super-intuitive but once you set it up it's great. It's the star of my setup."
