After wowing the world with a closed-back headphone and a planar magnetic headphone, Meze forayed into the world of IEMs with the Rai Penta. Each monitor of this award-winning IEM features one dynamic driver and four balanced armature drivers, plus a special airflow system that lowers resonance.

Penta hybrid driver technology

Meze knew that they couldn't just stuff five drivers into an IEM and call it a day. They had to overcome a slew of problems from phase issues to harmonic distortions in order to bring a finished project to market. The result is an ingenious system of pressure-equalizing bores, sound tubes, and a triple output ear tip assembly.

Ergonomic fit for round-the-clock comfort

Meze designed the Rai Penta for all-day comfort. The round, soft edges and gracefully curving contours embrace the natural shape of the human ear for a snug, comfortable fit.

Full-metal chassis

High-end sound deserves a high-end body. Each chassis of the Rai Penta is precision-milled from solid aluminum for ultra-high durability and longevity.
