1W balanced IEM module

The Burson Fully Discrete Class-A IEM Module is a plug-in upgrade for the Conductor Stellar, Soloist Stellar, and Soloist Prime. It replaces the standard TPA6120A2-based IEM stage with a fully discrete circuit, combining pure Class-A operation, a dual-mono architecture, and 1W of balanced XLR output. Dedicated power-supply filtering helps keep background noise low for sensitive in-ear monitors.

A discrete approach to IEM amplification

This module replaces the standard integrated amplifier chip with a circuit built from individual components. That approach gives Burson more control over the amplifier’s layout and biasing, allowing it to apply its discrete design principles to a dedicated IEM stage.

Deeper Class-A bias

A custom-machined heatsink dissipates heat so the circuit can operate with deeper Class-A bias. Its sculpted profile takes inspiration from the Burson Voyager, bringing a recognizable design detail to the module’s thermal management.

Separate circuits for each channel

A true dual-mono design gives the left and right channels their own amplification circuits. The mirror-symmetrical architecture maintains a consistent circuit arrangement across both channels, supporting precise stereo imaging and channel separation.

Power filtering for sensitive IEMs

Sensitive IEMs can make amplifier noise easy to hear. Dedicated Silent Power modules filter the DC supply to reduce power-supply noise, helping quiet passages and low-level musical details remain audible against a quieter background.

Balanced XLR output

The module delivers 1W through the compatible amplifier’s balanced XLR output. It brings Burson’s discrete Class-A amplification to IEM listening within an amplifier you already own.
