Twin Class-A engines

The Soloist GT4 uses two independent, mirror-symmetrical Class-A amplifiers, each with its own power source. This design removes cross-channel interference and preserves spatial clarity. With up to 10W into 16 ohms from the balanced output, headroom is wide and dynamics land with weight.

Discrete opamps built for musical detail

Burson supplies the GT4 with six of its own V-series discrete opamps. These modules work hand-in-hand with the amplifier’s topology to deliver a textured, transparent presentation. They reinforce tonal density and microdynamics without adding haze. A strong match for listeners who value nuance.

Silent power modules for clean regulation

Noise begins at the power stage. The GT4 addresses this with Burson’s Silent Power Modules, regulating incoming AC so that the downstream circuitry sees a stable, low-ripple supply. The result is a quieter background and more space around instruments. THD stays low at under 0.0015%, and SNR reaches up to 116dB depending on load.

Volume control with dual precision

Each channel gets its own MUSES72320 volume control paired with a discrete buffer. With a dynamic range of -112dB, this architecture minimizes channel deviation and gives you consistent control from low to high levels. Stereo crossfeed and balance adjustments broaden the GT4’s usefulness across headphones and speakers.

Crossfeed, balance, and sub blending

The GT4 supports hardware-based crossfeed for headphone listening and soundstage balancing for speaker listening. It also offers a dedicated subwoofer output, allowing a headphone-plus-sub arrangement or a blended two-channel system. These tools help you tailor the presentation to your room, your desk, and your preferences.

Fusion Core power for maximum headroom

The optional Fusion Core power supply uses GaN transistors running at far higher switching frequencies than silicon. Higher speed allows tighter noise filtering and increased current delivery. With up to 480W on tap, the amplifier maintains composure under load and gains a cleaner, more stable foundation for demanding headphones.
