Large drivers for full bass and detail

Each earcup houses a 1.97-inch (50mm) dynamic driver designed to deliver a relaxed presentation with robust bass. Its large diaphragm moves air to reproduce low-frequency impact while preserving detail across a wide soundstage.

A composite diaphragm with controlled movement

The diaphragm combines rigid PEK with flexible polyurethane to keep moving weight low while maintaining structural strength. A built-in brass damping ring helps control unwanted diaphragm breakup and reduce distortion, preserving subtle details in voices and instruments.

A lightweight voice coil assembly

A TIL voice coil former combines glass fiber and polyimide for low weight, strength, and resistance to heat. The copper-clad aluminum wire voice coil pairs aluminum’s lightness with copper’s conductivity. Together, these materials help improve driver sensitivity and detail reproduction.

N52 magnets for responsive sound

N52 magnets supply the magnetic force that drives the diaphragm. This motor assembly supports responsive movement and dynamic reproduction, helping the JT3 follow changes in musical intensity.

Open earcups for a spacious presentation

The open-back construction allows sound to pass through perforated aluminum-magnesium alloy grilles. This helps reduce pressure buildup within the earcups and supports a broad, natural soundstage with precise imaging. The alloy grilles also keep the outer shell light.

Angled drivers that follow the ear

The drivers sit at an angle to better align with the contours of your ears. This orientation directs sound toward the ear while optimizing airflow within the earcup for improved acoustics.

Soft earpads you can remove and wash

Velvet covers internal memory foam to provide soft cushioning around your ears. The dense fabric resists wrinkling and wear, while the detachable construction makes the pads easier to clean or replace.

An adjustable metal headband

A stainless steel and zinc alloy headband provides a stable fit. Ball-bearing sliders offer clearly defined adjustment positions, making it easy to return to your preferred size. The headphones weigh approximately 11.6 ounces (330g) without the cable.

A detachable cable for music, calls, and games

The included cable uses palladium-plated 4N oxygen-free copper and connects to the earcups through dual 3.5mm TRS plugs. Blue and red markings identify the left and right connections. An inline microphone and controls support calls and gaming, while the included 3.5mm-to-6.3mm adapter accommodates additional audio equipment. You can also replace the cable with a compatible cable for single-ended or balanced sources.
