The FiiO KA13 portable DAC and headphone amplifier connects your phone, tablet, or computer to wired headphones through 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced outputs. Dual CS43131 DACs and dual SGM8262 op-amps handle conversion and amplification, with support for PCM up to 32-bit/384kHz and DSD256. More power at the flip of a switch

A dedicated desktop mode switch gives you access to the KA13’s higher output power. Its balanced output delivers 550mW per channel into 32Ω, providing additional headroom for more demanding headphones. The switch sits beside the volume controls for easy access.

Dual DACs with dedicated amplification

Two CS43131 DAC chips work with two low-noise SGM8262 op-amps to convert and amplify your music. The KA13 supports PCM files up to 32-bit/384kHz and DSD256, with specified THD+N below 0.0005% through either headphone output into 32Ω.

Two headphone connections

Connect headphones or IEMs through the 3.5mm single-ended output or use the 4.4mm balanced output with a compatible cable. Having both connections on the KA13 lets you move between headphones without changing your DAC and amplifier.

A digital connection to an external DAC

The 3.5mm jack also supports coaxial SPDIF output. Enable it through the FiiO Control app on an Android device to convert USB audio into a digital signal for an external DAC. This gives the KA13 another role as a compact USB-to-SPDIF interface.

Included cables for phones and computers

A detachable USB-C connection works with the included USB-C and Lightning cables, while a USB-A adapter accommodates computers with older USB ports. The KA13 supports audio playback with Android, iOS, Windows, and Mac devices.

See your audio format at a glance

The RGB light window changes color with the incoming audio signal. Light blue indicates PCM at 48kHz or below, yellow indicates PCM above 48kHz, and green indicates DSD. You can turn the light off through the FiiO Control app on Android.

Adjust settings through the app

The FiiO Control app lets you select audio filters, control the indicator light, and enable SPDIF output. App control of the KA13 is supported on Android devices only.

Metal construction with physical controls

The CNC-machined metal body features angular front-panel lines, a patterned rear panel, and a glass window protected by an anti-scratch film. Short presses on the side buttons adjust volume, while long presses switch tracks. Choose Midnight black or Dawn silver.
