Original HE6 planar magnetic driver

The HE6 Remastered uses the original HE6 planar magnetic driver design that earned the headphone its reputation for remarkable transparency, fast transient response, and expansive dynamics. The large planar diaphragm produces clean, controlled bass, natural midrange reproduction, and extended high frequencies while maintaining low distortion across the audible spectrum.

Nanometer-thickness diaphragm

HIFIMAN's nanometer-thickness diaphragm is engineered to reduce moving mass while improving responsiveness. Its extremely thin construction allows the driver to respond quickly to changes in the music, resulting in improved transient accuracy, greater low-level detail retrieval, and reduced unwanted resonance.

Second-generation headband

The updated composite headband incorporates HIFIMAN's second-generation design with rotating hangers that better distribute weight across the head. Compared to earlier HE6 models, the redesigned assembly reduces overall weight while providing a more secure and comfortable fit during extended listening sessions.

Lighter construction

The HE6 Remastered weighs 1.15 lb (522 g), down from approximately 1.21 lb (550 g) on the early HE6. The reduction improves long-term wearing comfort while preserving the original acoustic design that defined the headphone's sound.

Wide frequency response

With a frequency response extending from 8 Hz to 65 kHz, the HE6 Remastered is capable of reproducing deep bass fundamentals alongside delicate high-frequency detail.
