Hybrid drivers, wideband sound

A 10mm sapphire-plated dynamic driver handles low frequencies while a 6mm annular planar driver delivers precise mids and highs. This hybrid setup—more common in high-end audiophile gear than gaming peripherals—gives you a wider frequency range, better transient response, and spatial imaging that can handle the dense sonic details of competitive gaming.

Moondrop worked directly with esports athletes to identify critical sonic cues and optimize reproduction for competitive play. Footsteps, reloads, distant shots—every detail is clearer, faster, and more distinct.

One-click pro presets

You don’t have to spend hours dialing in your own tuning. The Rays support one-click preset downloads from a growing online library of pro-created EQ profiles tuned for over 20 popular titles. Swap profiles mid-session depending on the game, or save your own and share them with the community.

Manual & Auto EQ

When you want to customize, the web and mobile app interfaces let you adjust filter type, frequency, and gain. Want something faster? The Rays include AutoEQ functionality. Upload your preferred target curve—like VDSF 5128 On-Ear or In-Ear—and Rays will match it as closely as possible. 

USB-C Hi-Fi game sound card

The Rays include a USB-C game sound card capable of 32-bit/384kHz decoding. Designed with a four-layer gold-plated PCB and precision components, it avoids the limitations of traditional 7.1 gaming sound cards. 

Hardware AI noise-canceling mic

Inside the mic’s audio chip is a dedicated NPU running a real-time AI noise reduction algorithm. Unlike traditional ENC systems, this one adapts to your environment—cutting ambient chatter and keeping your voice intelligible no matter where you're gaming. 

Memory tuning on-board

Once you've locked in your tuning, it's ready for you every time you game. The Rays store custom EQ profiles directly on the DSP chip—no need to reconfigure every time you hop on.
