Timeless sound, modern sources

The R410 combines contemporary streaming with traditional playback in one enclosure. Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, and Qobuz Connect are built in for direct playback without compression from your phone. Internet radio, DAB/DAB+, and FM with RDS expand daily listening options, while Wi-Fi and Ethernet ensure stable playback across formats and services.

Custom drivers tuned for real rooms

Two 100mm NS+ bass-mid units handle low and mid frequencies with control and warmth, supported by 20mm silk dome tweeters derived from the MR1 speakers. The tuned dual bass reflex enclosure allows the R410 to reach down to 35Hz while maintaining clarity at moderate and higher volumes. Adaptive EQ adjusts output as volume changes, keeping balance intact late at night or during louder sessions.

Amplification designed for clarity

A 120W RMS Class D amplifier powers the system efficiently while maintaining low distortion—rated at 0.02% THD at 30W per channel. Class D topology allows high output from a compact chassis, with less heat and consistent performance during extended listening. Stereo+ processing adds width when desired, without forcing a fixed sound signature.

A cabinet meant to be lived with

The enclosure draws from seventies-inspired proportions, with careful attention to surface finishes and joinery. Sustainable woods are spliced and recomposed to achieve the look of slow-growing hardwoods while maintaining responsible sourcing. The result is a piece that fits into living spaces as furniture, not equipment.

Turntables, CDs, and television sound

Beyond streaming, the R410 accommodates physical media and video sources. A moving magnet phono input allows direct connection of a turntable without an external phono stage. The USB-C port supports playback from storage and connection to the optional R-CD100 CD player. HDMI ARC and eARC bring television audio into the system, making dialogue clearer and soundtracks more dimensional.

Multiroom playback without friction

Apple AirPlay and Google Cast enable wireless playback from a wide range of apps, including Apple Music and BBC Sounds, at better-than-CD quality where supported. When paired with other compatible speakers, including Ruark R610 and R810 models, music can move between rooms in sync, controlled from the app you already use.

Controls that feel considered

The latest RotoDial sits at the center of the R410, redesigned for the 100 Series with smoother rotation and clearer tactile feedback. The rechargeable Bluetooth LE remote mirrors this control logic, working without line-of-sight and responding instantly. Volume, source selection, and presets remain accessible without reaching for a phone.

A display that supports browsing

A 4-inch high-resolution color TFT display presents album artwork, station information, and menus with clarity. Oriented vertically like a smartphone, it feels familiar and easy to read from across the room. The internal processor keeps transitions smooth, making browsing libraries and services feel deliberate rather than technical.
