SMSL RAW-MHA1 Professional Digital High Power Amplifier
160W per channel amp
The SMSL RAW-MHA1 is a compact digital power amplifier using a high-power Infineon amplifier chip, with stereo and bridged mono operation, RCA and balanced XLR inputs, dedicated subwoofer output, and up to 345W of BTL output power.
High-power Infineon amplification
The RAW-MHA1 is built around a high-power amplifier chip from Infineon with energy conversion efficiency rated above 90%. In stereo operation, it delivers up to 160W per channel into 4Ω or 85W per channel into 8Ω, while BTL mode increases output to 345W into 8Ω or 200W into 4Ω from a single channel.
Measured low distortion
Performance measurements taken with an APx555B audio analyzer specify THD+N at 0.004%. Signal-to-noise ratio reaches 104dB, while dynamic range is rated up to 105dB. These figures support clean amplification with low residual noise across a wide range of listening levels.
Stereo and bridged mono operation
In stereo mode, the RAW-MHA1 delivers up to 160W per channel into 4Ω or 85W per channel into 8Ω. Switch to BTL bridge mode for a single high-power channel rated at 345W into 8Ω or 200W into 4Ω. This makes the amplifier suitable for conventional two-channel systems as well as applications requiring a dedicated high-output mono channel.
Balanced XLR and RCA inputs
Selectable RCA line and balanced XLR inputs make the RAW-MHA1 compatible with DACs, preamplifiers, audio interfaces, and other line-level sources. Balanced XLR connectivity is particularly useful for longer cable runs where improved rejection of externally induced noise can help preserve signal integrity.
Dedicated subwoofer output
A built-in low-pass filter feeds the dedicated subwoofer line output, allowing an active subwoofer to receive low-frequency content directly from the amplifier. This provides a straightforward path to a 2.1-channel system without requiring a separate external crossover.
All-aluminum enclosure
The chassis is made from CNC-machined aluminum alloy with an anodized surface treatment. The metal enclosure supports heat dissipation and helps shield internal circuitry from external electromagnetic interference while keeping the amplifier compact enough for desktop and shelf-based audio systems.
Gold-plated connections and protection
Gold-plated input and output terminals are designed to resist oxidation and maintain low contact impedance. Internal protection includes overheat, over-current, and short-circuit safeguards that monitor operating conditions and intervene when abnormal conditions are detected.
Fast-response power supply
The RAW-MHA1 uses an audio-focused switching power supply with fast voltage regulation and current reserve for demanding transients. Multi-stage filtering and shielding are used to reduce high-frequency switching noise and maintain a low-noise background.
