SMSL VMV A1 Class-A Amplifier
Dang it.
This product has been discontinued. It is no more. It has ceased to be.
Massive analog power
Boasting massive power, nominal distortion, and a minimalistic feature set, the VMV A1 is a firehose of analog power. How powerful? 15Wx2(4Ω), or enough to warrant an on-screen temperature display (really).
Class-A amplifier
The SMSL VMV A1 is a class-A amplifier. Using simple circuits that draw the same amount of current and consume the same amount of energy whether receiving a signal or not, this is the most straightforward of amplifier types. It isn’t subject to electromagnetic interference caused by digital components, so its total harmonic distortion and signal-to-noise ratio are exceptionally low.
Perfect for bookshelf speakers and headphones
With 15Wx2 (4Ω) and 2Wx2 (32Ω), the VMV A1 can power passive bookshelf speakers as easily as a pair of headphones. And its precision potentiometer offers razor-thin adjustments to volume for maximum modifiability.
