The CDM-10 brings the nostalgia of spinning CDs into the modern Hi-Fi era. Combining dual Cirrus Logic CS43198 DACs, dual Raytheon JAN6418 vacuum tubes, and "tone switch" feature, it delivers both crisp, detailed transistor sound and the rich warmth of tube playback at the touch of a button. 

Dual DAC decoding architecture

Two flagship Cirrus Logic CS43198 DACs operate in parallel to provide high-resolution audio decoding with exceptional channel separation and low noise. Paired with a fully-balanced four-channel analog stage, the CDM-10 preserves subtle musical detail while supporting PCM up to 32-bit/384kHz, DSD256, and MQA playback through its USB input.

Tube and transistor listening modes

The CDM-10 features dual audio circuits that allow instant switching between transistor and tube operation. Transistor mode emphasizes precision, clarity, and expansive imaging, while tube mode engages a pair of JAN6418 vacuum tubes for a richer presentation with greater warmth, smoother vocals, and classic tube character.

Portable vacuum tube implementation

Dual Raytheon JAN6418 tubes operate at low voltage and low power, making them perfect for portable use. An optimized shock-resistant circuit helps reduce microphonic effects while preserving the tube texture.

Custom CD transport system

A dedicated optical reading mechanism and custom servo system maintain stable disc rotation, precise tracking, and rapid error correction. This design improves disc compatibility while helping preserve the integrity of the original recording.

Dual vibration isolation design

The transport combines electronic cache memory with a physical damping buffer to reduce the effects of vibration during playback. By minimizing interference and jitter, the system helps maintain smooth and consistent audio performance.

Selectable upsampling modes

Built-in 2x and 4x digital upsampling modes allow listeners to tailor playback to their preferences. Upsampling reduces DAC filter workload and can improve high-frequency smoothness, resulting in a more refined and layered presentation.

High-power balanced amplification

A self-developed current expansion circuit works alongside the fully-balanced headphone amplifier stage to deliver substantial output capability. The balanced output provides up to 1087mW into a 32-ohm load, giving the CDM-10 the ability to drive a wide variety of headphones, from sensitive in-ear monitors to demanding over-ear designs.

USB DAC functionality

When connected to a computer, tablet, or smartphone, the CDM-10 functions as a high-performance USB DAC. Support for PCM up to 32-bit/384kHz, DSD256, and MQA decoding allows the player to serve as a central source for both physical and digital music collections.

Extensive output connectivity

Multiple output options make the CDM-10 easy to integrate into a wide range of systems. Dedicated 3.5mm, 6.35mm, and 4.4mm headphone outputs are complemented by RCA line outputs, optical output, and coaxial output for connection to amplifiers, DACs, powered speakers, and other audio components.

Portable and desktop power flexibility

A built-in 6000mAh battery provides approximately 7 hours of CD playback or up to 12 hours of USB playback. For extended listening sessions at home, the player also supports external 12V DC power input for stable desktop operation.

Premium aluminum construction

The aluminum alloy chassis helps reduce electromagnetic interference while providing durability and a refined appearance.
