Radio tuner & DAC with digital and RCA outputs

The XQ-60 Bluetooth & Radio Decoder connects wireless music, AM/FM broadcasts, and computer audio to your existing DAC, amplifier, or powered speakers. A Qualcomm QCC3084 Bluetooth 6.0 chip supports codecs including LDAC and aptX Lossless, while a CS43198 DAC handles analog conversion. Coaxial, optical, and RCA line outputs give you several ways to connect.

Wireless listening with more codec options

Add Bluetooth reception to an audio system you already enjoy. The XQ-60 supports SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC, plus LC3 and aptX Lite through LE Audio. These options let it work with a range of source devices, with the available codec determined by your connected device’s support.

Your local stations through your favorite speakers

Listen to music, news, and conversation from stations in your city. The radio stage combines a dedicated receiver chip with DSP digital demodulation, then sends an I²S digital signal to the DAC for analog conversion. Manual tuning and automatic scanning help you find broadcasts, with storage for up to 64 FM stations and 64 AM stations.

Computer audio over USB

Connect a computer or compatible tablet through USB to use the XQ-60 as an external sound card. Driver-free playback supports 16–24-bit audio at sample rates from 44.1–96kHz, giving your computer a direct connection to your audio system.

Digital and analog connections

Coaxial and optical digital outputs connect to an external DAC, with a CS8406 digital transceiver handling digital output. For a direct connection to an amplifier or powered speakers, stereo RCA line outputs use the onboard CS43198 DAC and deliver up to 2Vrms.

Controls you can see from a distance

A 1.9-inch TFT color display shows playback information, radio frequency, signal strength, and menu settings. Adjust screen brightness, set automatic screen shutoff, and choose whether the unit powers on automatically. The included IR remote lets you change functions and settings from your listening position.

Aluminum housing and external antennas

The aluminum alloy enclosure helps shield the circuitry from external electromagnetic interference. A detachable external Bluetooth antenna supports wireless reception over a stated range of approximately 33 feet (10 meters), while separate AM/FM antenna connections let you position radio antennas for reception.
