YULONG DAART Aurora Desktop DAC/Pre-amp/ Headphone Amp
Small chassis, serious sound
The YULONG DAART Aurora packs a surprising amount of tech into a compact form factor, making it a smart choice for audiophiles who need top-tier digital decoding, clean preamp output, and high-power headphone amplification without adding clutter to their desk. With support for up to DSD512, 768kHz PCM, 8x MQA decoding, and both single-ended and balanced outputs, it’s a true all-in-one unit that doesn’t feel like a compromise.
Compact, fully loaded
At just under 8 inches wide, the Aurora still finds space for dual XLR and RCA pre-outs, a full trio of headphone outs (6.35mm, 4.4mm, and 4-pin XLR), and RCA line-in. This is rare connectivity in a desktop unit, especially one this compact.
High-performance DAC
Built around the ES9068AS, the Aurora delivers 32-bit/768kHz PCM and native DSD512 decoding with excellent linearity and low distortion. The THD+N clocks in at 0.0001x%, with a dynamic range of 125dB.
XMOS XU216 USB and low-jitter clocking
USB audio is handled by the latest-gen XMOS XU216 solution with an NDK ultra-low phase noise oscillator. That means accurate clocking and robust compatibility with Windows, MacOS, Linux, Android, and iOS devices.
Balanced discrete amplification
Aurora uses a fully discrete Class-A amplifier topology for both its headphone amp and preamp stages. It delivers clean, high-current output with a wide soundstage and excellent dynamics.
Power where it counts
The newly developed regenerative power supply delivers up to 5A of transient current when needed, while staying efficient and quiet. So when your tracks hit hard, the Aurora doesn’t flinch. It keeps the noise floor low and the energy high.
Built to last—and look good doing it
Aurora’s CNC-machined aluminum chassis is clean, solid, and seamless. A high-precision, probably-damped volume knob feels great to use, and the whole thing is sized to fit neatly into any desktop or listening station.
