3 New Mech Keys Projects & More on the Way
The Mech Keyboard Industry Has Changed...
The mechanical keyboard industry has changed dramatically over the last decade. Many of the manufacturers that once supported enthusiast projects have disappeared or shifted priorities. This leaves designers with limited paths to low MOQ production. And to top it all off, there’s a lack of trusted retailers able to host Group Buys and provide customers with original designs.
We at Apos are in a unique position to help the mech keys community. We have longstanding relationships with factories, experience bringing enthusiast products to market, and a deep love for the community that built this hobby. In fact, many of us at Apos worked at Massdrop in the 2010s during the mech keys community’s formative years and brought some of the most beloved keyboard projects to life (the Massdrop x GMK Collab Triumph Adler, the Massdrop ErgoDox, and the Massdrop x OLKB Preonic, Laser and Carbon Keycap sets, to name a few).
With your help, we're making the next generation of great keyboard projects.
Hearing from old friends
Recently, we’ve been hearing from designers who’re looking for a home for their next project. It’s been exciting to see so many great ideas coming out way, and we’re psyched to help bring them to the community. Here are a few key people we’re excited to be working with:
