The 6L6GC / 6N3C is a Soviet-produced beam power tube manufactured for use in high-power audio amplification and industrial electronics during the Cold War era. As part of the long-running 6L6 family, the type reflects the Soviet Union’s adaptation of a proven Western beam tetrode design that became a standard output tube in both Hi-Fi and instrument amplifiers. These examples feature the desirable Bottom Inverted Cup Getter and Long Grey Plate construction, a rugged internal design with stable operation, efficient heat dissipation, and long service life.
